How to Use This Odds Converter
Simply enter odds in any format and the converter instantly calculates the equivalent in all other formats. This is essential for comparing odds across different sportsbooks, especially when some display American odds and others use decimal.
Understanding Odds Formats
American Odds
The standard format in the US. Positive odds (+150) show how much you win on a $100 bet. Negative odds (-110) show how much you need to bet to win $100. The favorite has negative odds, the underdog has positive odds.
Decimal Odds
Popular in Europe and Australia. Multiply your stake by the decimal to get your total payout (including stake). For example, $100 at 2.50 returns $250 total ($150 profit).
Fractional Odds
Traditional UK format. The fraction shows profit relative to stake. 3/2 means you win $3 for every $2 bet. 1/2 means you win $1 for every $2 bet (favorite).
Implied Probability
The percentage chance the bookmaker's odds suggest. -200 implies 66.67% probability. Compare this to your own estimate to find value bets.
